Always remember what I'm working with ...
Most of my jewelry is made from wire. Some softer than others; meaning some gauges are "dead soft" material and others can be "half hard" wire. I use the dead soft for mostly wiring beads and creating links and some wire beads. I now have quite the assortment of various wires in various gauges and metals. I am now including jewelers brass (which has more the appearance of fine gold). My main reason for writing this post is to remind you that if anything you order may bend out of shape, because in the end it is made with wire. BUT the good news is that it is made of wire! Because what bends out of shape can always be bend back into shape. So don't fear. My hooks are all made with half hard wire and are made to last. If the hooks are hammered they have been strengthened and should absolutely not bend out of shape. But again, don't be afraid to bend something back; wire is pretty malleable.
Just because I mention this in here does not mean that all my jewelry will bend out of shape. This post is strictly a word of advise if you will. To not freak out "if" something should bend out of shape. If you should have an "accident" and let's say your piece is completely undone, please contact me and send me a picture of the piece. I'm always willing to fix any of my products for a nominal fee and a small shipping fee.
In ending I'd like to add, that I am always amazed what can come of one piece of wire. The fun I have creating with wire and lately I've been adding sheet metal. I am excited about the new opportunities that come along using sheet metal. To me this is an unending learning process and I experiment on a daily basis. If you could see the pieces that don't make it up here you'd be amazed. I realize I'm way too hard on myself and my standards are off the charts, but I like quality and beauty. I wear a lot of my own pieces and even my mother is giving up on her "real" diamond jewelry and is wearing my jewelry only. She cracks me up because she wants even the pieces that don't make it up here.
I want you to be at ease ordering and enjoying your treasures from WPR Jewelry, that even if something should happen and you could not bend it back or are afraid to, you can contact me and I can guide you through it or you can send the piece back to me to fix it. No worries is what I want to convey here.
